Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains the cancellation rules and refund conditions for rides booked through RUBX Rider.
Passengers may cancel a ride under the following conditions:
If the ride is cancelled within a short time after booking and before the driver starts traveling to the pickup location, no cancellation fee may apply.
If a passenger cancels after the driver has arrived or after a reasonable waiting time, a cancellation fee may be charged.
Drivers may cancel rides if:
The passenger cannot be reached
The pickup location is unsafe or inaccessible
The passenger significantly delays pickup
Frequent cancellations by drivers may result in account review or suspension.
If a passenger fails to arrive at the pickup point after a reasonable waiting period, the driver may mark the ride as a No-Show and a cancellation fee may apply.
Refunds may be considered in situations such as:
Incorrect fare charged
Technical errors in the app
Ride not completed but payment taken
Duplicate payment
Refund requests will be reviewed by the support team.
Refunds may not be provided if:
The passenger cancels after driver arrival
The ride is completed successfully
Incorrect pickup location is provided by the passenger
If approved, refunds may take 3–7 business days depending on the payment method.
For rides paid in cash directly to the driver, refunds may be handled through driver coordination or platform review.
Users who repeatedly abuse refund requests or cancellation rules may face account restrictions or suspension.
RUBX Rider reserves the right to update this policy to improve service and comply with applicable regulations.
